 Queen Hatshepsut
Queen Hatshepsut was born in 1508 BC.
Known as the concubine of Amun, the Dora of the Princesses or Amun's favorite over the ladies, she is considered the fifth in the line of kings of the Eighteenth Dynasty, and she received the rule after the death of her husband, King Thutmose II, where she was distinguished by the strength of personality, and was able to rob the throne of Egypt from her husband's son Thutmose III due to his young age. Who was 9 years old at the time
She assumed the throne of Egypt from 1479 to 1458 BC. Hatshepsut died in 1457 BC during the 22nd year of her reign, when she disappeared from the throne in mysterious circumstances when King "Thutmose III" took over the rule of Egypt, and burned most of its statues as a form of revenge; Among the most important effects of Queen Hatshepsut is her funerary temple on the western mainland, where the goddess "Hathor" was an important goddess, and she is sometimes depicted in the form of a lady, and sometimes in the form of a cow, and one of her primary roles was that she was the divine mother of each ruler, as she was linked to funerary beliefs, not Sima in Thebes, where she was known as the goddess of the West, and the Deir el-Bahari site was linked to the goddess "Hathor", and this connection had a great impact on Queen "Hatshepsut", for choosing this place as a site for her funerary temple
Queen Hatshepsut could not prevent her heart from throbbing with love towards her special engineer, "Senenmut", who granted him about 80 royal titles, contrary to Pharaonic norms, as he was a commoner, and in return, that lover designed the most beautiful limestone funerary temple in the history of the Pharaohs. He explains, "One of the clear indications of the love story that brought them together was that this engineer designed a passage between his own tomb and Hatshepsut's tomb to keep in touch with her in the other world, according to the Pharaonic belief, and this was also an uncharacteristic thing."
