The date of his rule between 2532 BC. And 2504 BC,

Pyramid of Menkaure

Menkaure was the builder of the smaller pyramid at Giza. Its two sides have a base of 102.2 meters by 104.6 meters and a height of 65.55 meters, which is much smaller than the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre. The basic material in its construction was limestone, which was extracted from quarries near the place of construction, but Menkaure asked his engineers to build the lower outer part of pink granite stone. The engineers worked to bring sand granite stones from Aswan and transport them on the Nile to Giza. The Menkaure pyramid was covered with pink granite to a height of 15 meters, and the top was made of white limestone
From the north of the pyramid descends a crypt inclined to a primary room under the pyramid floor. Another crypt extends from it sloping upwards and ends directly under the floor of the pyramid and ends with a wall. It seems that this basement was originally planned to extend inside the pyramid. The sarcophagus is built below the primary chamber. In it, a granite sarcophagus measuring 2.43 x 0.94 x 0.88 meters was found. [2] The sarcophagus was decorated - unlike the sarcophagi of Khufu and Khafre, which were simple and without decorations - as the coffin was engraved on its sides, the shape of the entrance to the palace.
The coffin was supposed to be transported to Britain in 1838, but it did not arrive, as a storm intercepted the ill-fated ship "Beatrice" and sank it in front of the historic city of "Carthage" in the early nineteenth century.
